The form of the work derives from experiences and research on site and draws together the commonplace and overlooked, to question our perceptions of people and places.

Wilson’s projects always present us with work with sensitive observations combined with a relentless appetite for research, and a subtle hint of humour.

The origins and form of her work, whether specific to commissioned projects or otherwise, in a refreshingly direct and unpretentious way reflect upon the quotidien. Projects not only designed for the gallery but for public spaces and non gallery audiences.
